Rallies
Jimmy Cornell is credited with having conceived the cruising rally concept. Since the first ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) in 1986, similar rallies following the same model of an organised event aimed at cruising sailors are now taking place all over the world.

Rallies 1986 - 2000
- Between 1986 and 2000, when Jimmy Cornell ended his active involvement in World Cruising Club, he had run 20 transatlantic rallies, four round the world rallies and one round the world race.
