Initial Consultancy Fee

Anyone who wishes to proceed will be asked to pay a set-up fee of £350 ($500, €400) which covers the preliminary work on the proposed voyage and route, and will be followed by detailed comments, practical suggestions and recommendations on the timing of the voyage, the feasibility of the proposed route, possible alternatives, as well as certain essential factors on weather, safety, facilities en route, etc that may need to be borne in mind during the planning stage.

Those who are satisfied with this initial input and wish to continue this collaboration will move to the next stage which can be on various levels:

1. Voyage preparation and general advice during the planning stage.
2. Routing advice and planning support during the proposed voyage.
3. Routing advice and practical support throughout the voyage.

The initial fee covers an initial input of five hours after which the consultancy work will be assessed on a pro-rata basis at a cost of £70 ($100, €80) per hour.

An invoice with payment details for the initial consultancy fee will be sent to those who wish to proceed.

Payments made in the UK in pounds sterling incur VAT (currently at 17.5%)
